As well as on bottles, I used this on my drinking water tap and pipeline that goes from the filter to the drinking water tap. Seems to do the job. Injecting a measure into the line and leaving it to sterilise the pipeline. No noticeable taste after, works well.

These seem to work ok - hard to tell if they’re actually disinfecting my water bottle or not. They’re similar to denture cleaning tablets. Easy to use - just fill the bottle with water and drop a tablet in then leave. They’ve got a minty smell which does linger for a couple of washes. I had one water bottle that I’d left with some water in for a long time and it had gone a bit green at the bottom. These tablets did nothing to remove this it still required a good scrub with a bottle brush. Made me feel happier knowing after I’d scrubbed and used these again that it was probably safe to use (I would have had concerns if I’d just scrubbed it) I’m sure there’s probably cheaper equivalents (like denture cleaning tablets) than buying these.

I used one of these and followed the instructions it seemed to work all OK. The issue I have is that it leaves a strong smell and when putting liquid back in the bottle it doesnt seem to taste the same.
