Good flame and the form factor make it easy to light candles. It does go through gas quite quickly but that is expected for jet flame lighters.

I’ve been using the lighter for lighting my log burner. It works brilliantly for this use. The powerful, adjustable flame makes it incredibly easy to ignite the fire safely and really gets it going quickly. The design feels sturdy and comfortable to hold, and I love how simple it is to adjust the flame to suit different tasks, switching from log burner to candles for example. I even used it over Christmas to make a crème bruleé. The only downside is the gas reservoir, which is a bit on the small side. It doesn’t last very long between refills, especially with regular use. That said, the performance and reliability more than make up for this minor inconvenience. Overall, this is a fantastic lighter, especially for lighting log burners, I’m really happy with it. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient lighter, good value for money!

This seemed like a good quality lighter when it arrived and I was very impressed with the smooth action of the lighter switch and the flame produced was accurate and not too fierce. I was disappointed a week later when the spark stopped working. It will work sporadically but most of the time, the lighter, sadly is useless. I can hear gas coming out through the flame nozzle but because there is no spark produced anymore, the gas will not light. Please advise me if I can check the lighter for a cause of failure to light. Should I return the lighter and ask for a replacement?

At ~$9 delivered to my door this is an awesome lighter. If nothing else it looks fantastic. The adjustment can be a bit fiddly, and the flame takes a while to go out sometimes, I still love this lighter. Pretty silly that I have it at my door in a couple days for ~$9.

I bought a couple of these to have in my garage and camper. They are great! I have been using them quite a bit and have not had to replace the batteries or refill them as of yet. They are very handy for lighting camp stoves, fires, etc. You can control the flame from a distance without the risk of burning fingers like can happen with matches. The ignition is electronic so no flints to deal with. I have actually dropped one in the stream, picked it up and shook it off then it fired right back up. The price was quite reasonable and I have had no issues with quality.

I'll say the best thing about this lighter is that it is easy to turn on and off....I use an antique gas stove which requires matches to light the burners. Since they did away with matches that actually light on anything, I've been testing out various ways to light my burners living with arthritis in both hands. This lighter is so far, very easy to use BUT..isn't there always a "but" it becomes a dramatic result every time I use it. It is always the rule to have your flame going before you turn the gas on...and this lighter continues to either blow itself out, or shoot out a 3 inch jet flame without the slightest change in settings. The use is far more dramatic than I had hoped for. I will give it a while longer, but so far I'm disappointed.
