I bought knives which claimed to have a sharpening function in the block, so the knives would sharpen when being taken out or put back in their slots. This just didn’t work. The Any Sharp sharpener has been very effective and my knives are sharp again. It is simple to use and small for easy storage. In summary, this is a great little gadget for a relatively cheap price.

I've been using this for a couple of weeks now - it does the job well overall. It's compact and really easy to use. The fact it also works on serrated knives is great. It does feel slightly cheap but it's not an expensive item so no issues there. The suction cup didn't work on my kitchen worktops or table which made things slightly annoying, but it still works well. It's great to have new life in knives that have been getting less effective. It definitely gets the job done.

These ‘AnySharp’ knife sharpeners are in my own personal opinion the best brand & working type of this style of knife sharpener BUT the work as in the sharpening is extremely short lived leaving you re-sharpening your knives often as they scruff up & become blunt again extremely fast & I even use a honing rod with with my knives & they still dull extremely quickly! The workings of the product does sharpen your knives in an extremely handy manner but your knives are so transiently sharp, the products results remind me of those teeth whitening kits that whiten your teeth but only for a couple of hours! Yes the product is extremely easy to use & is small enough to easily store & its suction grip (TOP TIP) is pretty much un-moveable when it’s used on flat glass but it is no Whetstone! OK whetstones take a little longer to use but the results are much better & are longer lasting especially when used with a honing rod I mean I’m talking at least a month before re-sharpening, a good grit whetstone & honing rod which both are available here on Amazon by the bucketload in so many different sizes & different grits are the best, most professional & still inexpensive way to sharpen your knives this ‘AnySharp’ product is a good way to get a quick transient sharpen say for example preparing a Sunday Roast but a whetstone with a honing rod use is just far superior! Again it’s still handy to have one of these in for a quick use on a blade that’s unexpectedly blunt or on the blunt side but this product lasts for such a short time becoming blunt itself!
